Hi all! Here is a summary of activities that have been proposed for Lust Vegas. Let's discuss, and see what is of interest, and who can help make these happen! Activity Ideas: Afternoon Fun & Games Naked wrestling - Get up close and personal with those of interest! - Kiddie pool misted with oil for wrestling - Is there interest? Giant Naked Twister - 15x15 tarp etc. - Pam, you mentioned you would do this? Naked Blind Man's Bluff - Interest? Name that Perversion Game Show - is anyone interested in EmCeeing? "Casino Night" with strip games - Strip Poker, Strip BlackJack, Strip Roulette, - striptease dancers! - Anyone interested in dealing, dancing? Demonstrations and specialty play stations: Liquid Latex Play -need facilitators Shibari Demo -need facilitators “Learning the Ropes" - Do we have qualified volunteers to share their knowledge and information about their variety of kink? Waxing demo/class. -Zzapper has the gear and is interested. May only need a supply of proper candles; it should be safe for anyone to try afterwards. Violet wand demo (only). --Zzapper has the equipment and is interested. Usually a crowd pleaser due to sparks, zaps, glowing plasma, and yells in the night. But the equipment costs too much to replace to hand out for general use. Mummification - Zzapper is interested - Demo then let anyone interested try it whenever. If the rule were to be below the neck only, about the only safety hazard is falling, and we may have pillows and foam pads around anyway. - Concern of how eco-friendly? Social Events: Fettish Ball - Saturday night? - DJ is set; need hosts and hostesses - Who is interested Fireside discussions - group sharing of personal interests What do people think of the above? I think we can do name that perversion as a casual afternoon round table along with a 'training wheels' play space for the curious among our new friends. Pete and I are slamming our brains on the naked twister...should be fine I think we might run a strip poker table for early evening fun/ice breaker activity, but I think trying to do more would be spreading ourselves thin... Hmmm...also 1 or 2 dry erase boards, if anyone has them would be a good way to post events in the closed tent, and also outside the area for passers by to see whassup... I have a good supply of the candles we use for play, should be cool for Zzappers demo and use afterwards. Violet Wand sounds like everything is on track, Zzapper, do we need to provide anything for you to do this demo? I put one roll of commercial sized/quality saran wrap in our budget for bondage/mummification play...I'd really only like to go forward with this if folks are really, really stoked about it. I can't see it as being very environmentally responsible... If someone has/wants to bring a kiddie pool for oily wrestling, that would be cool. | ||

Hi, What is the thought on having a Sin-Em-a? I was assuming we would be getting use of the small 110V generator for Lust Vegas, but even if not, I have a portable power pack that would work for doing a demo. RE mummification, Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) wraps, such as nearly all commercial food service wraps, is not recyclable. A lot of consumer wraps are now made of low density polyethylene (LDPE) - the same material as plastic grocery bags that are recycled at every big grocery store. However, because they might be contaminated with food, most places will not accept used 'wrap'. If someone knows of a recycling place that will accept clean used wrap of the appropriate type, we could mummy away. (Message edited by zzapper on May 12, 2009) | ||

We do have the Farm's Honda generator for the event. It will run our lights, sound, your violet wand, etc...no worries! Sin-E-Ma...we had sort of scrapped this, due to lack of gear, but if you have the gear, I might be able to lay my hands on porn...heheheh...seriously, I have plenty. And we can encourage others to bring theirs as well for sake of variety. Here's the technical bits of this...do you have a projector? a screen, or do you need a wall or something to project onto? We should be able to work with any of the above, just need to plan for it so all goes smoothly. Really looking forward to it! My local recycling center won't take used wrap of any type...Anybody else? | ||

Yes, a projector and a backup projector, and a 5 ft. wide screen we could hang from a tree somewhere. If we hung a sheet, we could get an even bigger screen! I have a tent that can be used for the 'projection booth', but right now I can't say how much distance is needed between the projector and the screen. Since this stuff was intended for use indoors, probably not much compared with the spaces there. | ||

Re: Waxing demo/class. I have plastic sheeting to put down beforehand, but I'd rather use paper so it could be re-used as next day's fire starter. Anybody have a roll of wide 'meat wrapper' paper or any other ideas? | ||

Use paper if you like, but please don't burn it. Burned paper leaves a residue in the ash that makes it unhealthy for the soil. :-) Plastic sheeting on the other hand, or better yet a tarp, can be cleaned and reused for many other purposes. ~Dougie Firetender | ||

Zzapper, Don't worry, I'm an esthetician! I have a waxing sheet to cover the table with, wax will not adhere to it, it's very very nice! |
